Humanities is a broad academic field under which students study various types of human interactions, using methods that are largely analytical, critical or exploratory. Humanities contains something explicit to explore in itself. As it serves several disciplines where human beings and the society focus on different kinds of studies. Humanities is also referred to ‘Integrated Humanities’ which states this stream as the study of these humanities subjects. It is also regarded as the subject where many humanities courses are taught in lectures and seminars. On the other hand thinking about the Humanities Department as a whole, it offers classes that expand students awareness to the human condition, thus the scope of humanities is huge.
Eligibility
- 10+2 with English and social science as compulsory subjects.
- Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks in class 12 board exams.
For M.A
The eligibility criterion for pursuing this course is a Bachelor’s degree with Arts subjects. Candidates having completed graduation in B.A or another equivalent degree with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply.
