The Designing sector has been providing numerous job opportunities to graduates in India. In the past, in case of India, there weren’t many courses that focused on the aviation sector and groomed students to take on roles in that sector. Usually, Graduates of any discipline used to apply for Designing jobs. They used to get trained after they were selected after an interview. At present, things have changed! There are many Designing sector oriented courses present, which cater to the needs of the Designing Industry. Make sure that you research well about an Institute/College, before taking admission in it.
Eligibility Criteria
Students from any stream, who have passed 12th standard board examinations are eligible to pursue this course. Minimum marks criteria exists, but it varies from one Institute to another. Usually, it is around 50% marks, other than that students should be very creative in nature.
Career & Jobs
After completing the course, graduates may get hired at Designing industry. Average starting salary is usually good compare to other sectors. Larger apparel companies typically employ a team of designers headed by a creative director. Some fashion designers specialize in clothing, footwear, or accessory design; others create designs in all three fashion categories. For some fashion designers, the first step in creating a new design is researching current fashion and making predictions about future trends using trend reports published by fashion industry trade groups. Other fashion designers create collections from inspirations they get from their regular surroundings, from the cultures they have experienced and places they have visited, or from various art media that inspire them.
